ABOUT
Lagos X Washington D.C.
Omosi & Co. is a boutique film and creative studio building culturally rooted screen projects, creative strategy, and audience experiences across Nigeria, the African diaspora, and global Black communities.
Founded by filmmaker and producer Abbesi Akhamie, the studio sits at the intersection of cinema, culture, brands, and market-building. We develop and produce film, television, and digital projects that treat African culture not as decoration, but as the engine of story, style, commerce, and global connection.
Beyond production, Omosi & Co. offers consulting, workshops, and training in storytelling, production, cultural positioning, and creative market strategy. Our work combines independent filmmaking rigor, global creative standards, and cultural fluency to help stories move meaningfully through communities, platforms, and markets.

Match Made in Lagos
Match Made in Lagos is a stylish romantic dramedy series set in contemporary Lagos, following a boutique matchmaking agency that uses data, psychology, and social strategy to help people find love — even as the people behind the agency struggle to manage their own romantic lives.
Created and produced by Abbesi Akhamie, the series explores modern dating, ambition, friendship, family pressure, image, and intimacy in one of Africa’s most dynamic cities. Through humor, romance, and sharp social observation, Match Made in Lagos presents Lagos as a world of style, movement, culture, and possibility.
The series is also built as a tastemaker platform, spotlighting Nigerian and diaspora creativity across fashion, food, beauty, music, design, hospitality, and lifestyle. Currently in post-production, Match Made in Lagos is designed to connect with Nigerian, African, and global diaspora audiences looking for fresh, contemporary stories rooted in African life and culture.
